Anyway spring

is almost here, can you feel it..27 here 1 day ago.

Its been a long wet and very cold winter ,swine flu in every sneeze and its the time of year when if the sick elderly are going to die they do.

I love winter but when put like that I absolutely dont.

The world has seen the departure of MJ and Farrah Fawcett, if your into the celeb factor, and Ive lost a family member from heart attack, he was 42.( BIL) but I think that was more to do with a half million dollar mortgage than anything else.

Anyway, with the sunshine should come also less depression and pple in here might be less grumpy.

Lets hope so.

Yes - the weather really is beautiful at the moment. I think we've had a very short winter, very similar to the way it was in the early to mid 80's. It has been cold, but not for that long a period. It was the same in Summer - a few very hot days, but generally the weather for the past year has been quite moderate - in NSW anyway.

Victoria and South Australia seem to have been affected the most by extreme weather conditions.

Yes mantra, it has been unusually wet this year and unlike previous years it has been wet and cold, its not usually this cold with the rain..
But its warming up now and already things are in flower and the grass is growing in places it hasnt for a long time.

Thank you Sprint, it was a shock, he was seemingly very healthy.

But life is personified by spring and its about time.
