Like with Opium, the Talibaan eradicated both [opium and child exploitation] completely from the country. You're just too deluded in your fantasy that you're liberating the country and setting up this wonderland of democracy there, to admit it.

What else did they completely eradicate? As far as I can tell the only thing they did manage to eradicate was the education of girls. Maybe you could through a few fundamental human rights in as well.

Interesting that you find it instantly believable that they eradicated education for girls (because the media told you so), yet other things?? No way, impossible.

This is just more of an indication of how blinkered you are fd.

Did they fail in their quest to eradicate education for girls?

What else did they totally eradicate? I think you believe Islam eradicates adultery. Did the Taliban do that too?

I believe they also eradicated freedom of religion, as well as the freedom to dissent with anything they ordered you to do, in which case they just eradicated the person.

they eradicated art.

their belief is that there should be no reproduced images. and so during the taliban there was a black market of paintings. hmmm. I guess they didn't quite eradicate it.

Both you and the Talibaan are wrongdoers in that issue.

At that time the Afghan people were starving, and the Talibaan wasted money on explosives to blow up pieces of rock and bring international hostility on themselves.

And Western idiots were running around crying about a few statues, without a care in the world for the starving people of Afghanistan.

What were their leaders doing about this problem?  What do the leaders in any of these 3rd world countries do about this problem.

Wait for the west to bail them out, seems to me.  Then try to kill us.  Undecided

Are you all there? I just mentioned their leaders were busy blowing up pieces of rock and bringing international hostility on themselves.

This is just pure ignorance. The West "bailing" you out is not a blessing, it's a curse. I'm sure most countries would dislike the idea, it is forced upon them, in order to control them.
