I don't know who on earth you're talking about there, but Iv'e heard plenty of Imams teaching this.
And the only Imams who really count, ie. the 4 mujtahid Imams that founded the 4 major schools of jurisprudence all taught this....
So again, where on earth are you getting your info from? Because it doesn't sound very authentic.

Since he claimed that religions which teach all others are the epitome of evil are the problem, that doesn't apply to Islam, since Islam does not teach that.
The point is, you don't have to accept something as truth to tolerate it. It's not a matter of "You must believe all religions are true, or it means you wanna destroy all other religions".
Such a view is nothing but one of extremes.
