Well if they're not less mentally capable then why will exceptional female achievers always pale in comparison to their male ccounterparts?

I meant the total numbers, not necessarily the levels of achievement of both. Of course, have seen more high female achievers over the past sixty or so years -- I just don't think that we're going to see proportional representation in the domain of so called "high achievement" between the two sexes, ever.

But when people think of "high achievement", they think of things like being successful in politics, academia, business or the sciences, as if these were the only fields to "achieve highly" in. A woman who dedicates herself completely and tirelessly to the bringing up of a child is most definitely a high achiever in the most important field the human species engages.

Yep. In a way, the testosterone hormone is somewhat of a "master switch". Coupled with the right psychological characteristics, high testosterone will make you unstoppable. Coupled with the WRONG characteristics, you will be a nuisance to society.

Why do you think so many men go out of their way to achieve so highly? The answer, Annie, is in your mirror.

WE WANT WOMEN!

LOL

It's true though. So many of us are out there pushing ourselves to the absolute limit with one end goal in mind: babes. I probably think about sex every twenty seconds. I'm utterly consumed by it and I definitely consider it the primary motivation for my continued existence.

And that's what women want.

VOGLIO UNA DONNAAAAAA!!!!

enkidoo wants shamhat.

And he, Enkidu, whose origin is the mountain,
Who eats vegetation with gazelles,
Drinks at the watering place with cattle,
Satisfied his need for water with wild beasts.
Shamhat looked at the primitive man,
The murderous youth from the depths of open country.

"Here he is, Shamhat, bare your bosom,
Open your legs and let him take in your attractions!
Do not pull away, take wind of him!
He will see you and come close to you.
Spread open your garments, and let him lie upon you,
Do for him, the primitive man, as women do.
Then his cattle, who have grown up in open country with him,
will become alien to him.
His love-making he will lavish upon you!"

Shamhat loosened her undergarments, opened her legs and he took in her attractions.
She did not pull away. She took wind of him,
Spread open her garments, and he lay upon her.
She did for him, the primitive man, as women do.
His love-making he lavished upon her.
For six days and seven nights Enkidu was aroused and poured himself into Shamhat.

When he was sated with her charms,
He set his face towards the open country of his cattle.
The gazelles saw Enkidu and scattered,
The cattle of open country kept away from his body.
For Enkidu had stripped; his body was too clean.
His legs, which used to keep pace with his cattle, were at a standstill.
Enkidu had been diminished, he could not run as before.
Yet he had acquired judgment, had become wiser.
He turned back, he sat at the harlot's feet.
The harlot was looking at his expression,
And he listened attentively to what the harlot said.
The harlot spoke to him, to Enkidu,

"You have become wise Enkidu, you have become like a god.
Why should you roam open country with wild beasts?
Come, let me take you into Uruk the Sheepfold,
To the pure house, the dwelling of Anu and Ishtar,
Where Gilgamesh is perfect in strength,
And is like a wild bull, more powerful than any of the people."

She spoke to him, and her speech was acceptable.

10? there's only need for 1.

If we consider a woman like Ayesha bint Abi Bakr (May God be pleased with her) then she's had more influence on the world than the most influential women after her all put together.

It is said that 2/3 of Islam comes from her narration and teaching and scholarship in Islam, and therefore she has directly impacted the lives of about 1/4 of the world's population today, and many many more from her time till now.

My question to you soren, name one woman who's had even 1/10th of that impact on humanity.

Mohammed's mum? I am guessing here. Don't know her name. Jesus's mum was bigger, anyway.
Mohammed's chiildbride didn't have an impact on anything except as a recounter of Mohammed's sayings and deeds.

The question is about Muslim womn who have contributed to the betterment of humanity and because famous for that. famous beyond Koranic studies or indeed biblical studies. Think of famous female Muslim scientists, artists, writers, poets.

Not just boosters for Mohammed/Jesus/Buddha/etc.

But I admit that it is a trick question, to pose it is to answer it. There are no famous Muslim women because women in Islam are not to be heard or seen. SO whoever is famous is either an apostate lik Hirshi Ali or Muslim like Mozz is a Catholic - by birth, perhaps,  but not in her, the lasped Muslim lady's, heart and mind.

This is untrue. Many Muslim women make excellent mothers and homemakers, just like George W Bush's lovely little wife.

We need to support the ladies. If they wish to stay at home and support their families, they should be praised for it, not condemned.

Tony Abbott has some excellent policies in this area, and I look forward to hearing more during the election campaign. Many Muslim ladies are wonderful cooks, for example, and can be found making fabulous homos.

There is nothing like homos to warm the cockles of one's heart, as I'm sure you'll agree.

Mind you, I prefer tabouli. But we all have our preferences, don't we, dear?

"Homos" or hummus, I like both with avacado in fact.

Never heard of her. As a matter of fact, Mr Google has never heard of her.

If that's the degree to which famous Muslim women stand out from the rest - then I rest my case.
