Speaking of vegetables, smelly flesh and bones...I promised the boys that I'd transform the some of the contents of the garden, fridge and pantry into a hearty soup today...

Since things are quiet on here, methinks I have no excuse but to terminate my creative avoidance and hit the kitchen...

You get it out of a can, all you need is a good can opener, and remember who keeps the best and rejects the rest....someone in my family just said 'canned fish - grose', aaah! you can't please everyone.



LOL...I too keep a few cans of fish at the ready - No.2 son likes tuna for lunch, No.1 son tolerates tuna in an omelete, we all like salmon and potato rissoles and I'm uniquely partial to a hot tuna salad...

I have at least 2 cans of Sirena 185g tuna every week.
