Taylor Swift has sold out Melbourne concerts online for high prices.
I can't understand why - her songs are awful.

2 of her supposedly best songs are here as evidence:

Her songs are puerile, boring and disposable -
looks like the days of great music are long gone.

I agree with Bobby 100%.

If you bought me dinner & drinks first, paid for my concert ticket, put me up in a hotel afterwards, and paid for my Uber rides to and from the concert, I still wouldn't go.

She is awful. I'd rather listen to Coldplay (no, I take that back).

Autralia's own Natalie was 100 times better than Swift:

I agree with you.
I think people were fighting over $300 tickets at the huge MCG full
of echoes and really bad for sound - go figure?
800,000 idiots were fighting for 200,000 tickets.

I've heard people are paying $3,000 (from scalpers).

Crazy, but if it makes them happy good luck to them.

Give me our Natalie any day, or Sheryl Crow.

I was in a pub in Sydney many, many years ago and Daniel Johns (from Silverchair) was at the bar next to me.

I told him I was a fan and asked him what he was up to.

He pointed over to a table in the corner and said "I'm here with my girlfriend, just having a drink".  it was Natalie.

She was hot AF.  A stunning woman.

I just looked at him and said "You lucky bastard", and he gave me a huge smile that I'll never forget.

I think it was in The Rocks.

gee wizz - you get around.    Smiley

I used to spend a lot of time in Sydney.

Never got to see Silverchair or Natalie perform live, unfortunately   Sad

But seriously, she was an absolutely stunning young woman in real life.

I guess she was about 25 or so and I must have been in my 30s.

Good times.

Oh, nice. Those are really good   Shocked

My local music shop is closing down because they can't get enough of those in stock any more - they've been waiting 2 years for backorders.   Sad

Update -

Taylor Swift is putting on an extra show in Melbourne and another in Sydney
to cope with the high demand for tickets.    Shocked
