Pull your heads in NOW
Aug 18th, 2010 at 5:20pm

OK, I just deleted a whole thread of garbage started by a ridiculous post from Mellie, and then saw another almost as stupid one from Sprint, about teenagers preferring the ALP.
This is Sprints second go at starting an idiotic thread today, the first being the garbage about Rudd.

THIS STOPS NOW.
ANY THREAD JUST BLATANT TROLLING WILL BE DELETED AND THE PERSON WHO STARTED IT WILL BE BANNED FOR A WEEK.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

In case I do not see a stupid trolling thread, feel free to PM me and I will have a look at it.

Thankyou for clearing this up Mozz, I had wondered where this thread  got to.

...

Rest assured, I wont be creating anymore, was more or less created in the spirit of political satire, humour ..(in light of Sprints rather candid thread)...just one of those things you had to be there to see I guess, before someone turned it into a grubby cyber sexing-session of course.

Cheers

Cool

Darn, it seems I missed all the 'fun' - heck, I was almost starting to wonder where Lisa had got to...

Still, I had some good clean family fun playing hit'n'giggle squash and racquetball with my kids and some friends...

You are welcome, and as I agreed that we would allow people a fair amount of latitude during the campaign, I have let most things go, but unadulterated trolling, without any real political relevance of worth is taking that freedom too far.
Thanks for understanding, and appreciate that it will be the same result whatever political affiliation the trollee has, so just let me know if you see any threads started that you consider blatant, and I will check them out.

Will do Moz, you can count on me to state the obvious and all things 'blatant' from here on.

Smiley Glad to be of assistance, and am pleased you removed what had clearly regressed to what appeared to be someone's perverted IM discussion.

It's ok to have a little relevant humour, though draw the line when people take the opportunity to try to sexually intimidate their challenger by means being gross.

I think this is why the individual posted what they did, for the shock-horror factor.

This and because they probably didn't like me stating the obvious, of which is Telehealth has the potential to be exploited, particularly if Gillard plans to source telehealth care providers off shore.

Then there's the security concerns too, ie, google health records being stored/tampered with online, very personal health related information being video-streamed to potentially all and sundry.....

I mean, if hackers managed to get into our governments database, this and the CRU (climate gate)...then can we be sure our very personal information is secure?

Ie, theft of medicare numbers, etc?

I urge you all to look into this proposed Obama-Gillard telehealth plan and give it a bit more thought.

Pity, we only have a few days though.

LOL, Pansi...the mind just boggles - since Lisa has been AWOL for about a week, I can't really think who else might have been getting into it in her absence...

Tho' since then, Mellie seems to be batting her keys somewhat at SC...

OK, nuff said on this subject by me - resuming open hostilities elsewhere...

It was somewhat easier to get 'lost' at yahoo. Remember the saying it sticks out like a sore finger?

Watch out for poisoned darts and friendly fire elsewhere.

I believe there's great potential for both abuse and misuse.

LOL, Pansi...cleverly cryptic!

Unfortunately, the under-charged netbook battery just died - so I won't be able to keep up with the evening rush of posts until I get home after my son finishes this evening's classes...which still have over an hour to go...

Meantime, I'm one-thumb typing this at snail pace on my Centro mobile...LOL

I just had an obscene thought. If Abbott is batman, that makes Joe Hockey his side kick. Hockey in green lycra tights.......now that sight would get the asylum seekers scurrying back to where they come from.

Got it all covered - with the ol' vibrating shoe phone trick...

If that doesn't work - it'll be down to scary Shrek & Speedos...
