we might get another election

Apparently if the two parties get stuck on 75 all, we get a new election. Though I doubt the independents or the parties would let this happen.

Hung Parliament and new government:

I hope the present govt holds on as long as possible because despite all the panic amongst coalition voters I would like to see the rainbow alliance make a few much needed changes in this country.
The people have spoken and if the cards had just fallen the coalitions way their supporters would be pleased as punch, that is the nature of elections..around 50% of the people are happy and around 50% of people scream that they were robbed.
Coalition supporters forget that there was a swing towards Labor in Vic, SA and Tassie and in the end the 2 party preferred vote has shown the coalition and labor to be split pretty much 50/50
I think we should all get over it and ignore the post election avalanche of political and media spin  Smiley

More votes to the greens I hope. I won't ever vote liberal or labor. They are just sellouts to transnational corporations Sad

The Greens will be voted back into oblivion after the next two elections; especially after they flex their muscle in the senate next year.

Politicians and Nappies need to be changed often and for the same reason.

One trouble with political jokes is that they often get elected.

If you vote Green you are voting Labour

I suggest you look at what they are about before blindly voting.  I would even vote Labour,  if given the choice only between the two, because at least you know what they are about.

Nope...doesn't work that way FD...Greens preference was to Labor....so for every Greens candidate who DIDN'T win a seat...the votes went to labor...

Not true. I hope you realise that it is only a suiggestion and you are allowed to fill the ballot paper out any way you want (and that most do).
