I hope the present govt holds on as long as possible because despite all the panic amongst coalition voters I would like to see the rainbow alliance make a few much needed changes in this country.
The people have spoken and if the cards had just fallen the coalitions way their supporters would be pleased as punch,
"Rubbish, I don't know anyone who feels that way. The fairest way to go in a situation like this is to vote again and maybe the idiots who voted Green, will see the error of their ways"
that is the nature of elections..around 50% of the people are happy and around 50% of people scream that they were robbed.
Coalition supporters forget that there was a swing towards Labor in Vic, SA and Tassie and in the end the 2 party preferred vote has shown the coalition and labor to be split pretty much 50/50
" If mindless people hadn't voted Green because of their dissatisfaction, we wouldn't be in the position we see ourselves in now"
"EVEN Peter Garrett, in the safest Labout seat in the State, if not the country, had a 17% swing against him, three times that of the national average. He only just scraped in"
I think we should all get over it and ignore the post election avalanche of political and media spin
