I remember one time we had a small bantum and I was trying to catch it. I had it cornered against a small fence. It went to leap up and laid an egg mid air. You could see a glistening coat on the egg that dried as soon as it hit the ground.

Ok, I best say something though I won't say the company that I work for because I have a good job for what its worth and I would like to keep it.

You cannot deliver QUALITY for MASS markets/demand.
The big Chicken/Egg Companies cater to the mass market, sometimes delivering 500,000 eggs for Tamiflu vaccines, etc (protein).
I can say they do deliver above 50% quality at least and I believe my Company reaches 85%.
But it is the smaller kit farms that can deliver near 100% quality to the consumer - but at a price.

If you can afford better eggs, then I do suggest it - much like all foods.
Some are a load of rubbish, like those schoolgirls found with Ribeena Juice and I'm sure there are a lot out there. No, Carrots don't do squat for your eyes.

Well sometimes the idea of a Caged Chicken running around in only a foot of dirt or grass is considered 'Free-Range' , so don;t fall for that.
Cage-Free can be just running around all crowded in big sheds.

You really have to live country and visit your local small farm to reap quality rewards because chances are that the chooks are in the sunshine, scratching at real soil and grass and eating natural food and not chemically manufactured pellets.

Yes - all mass production birds are 'AB'd.

This goes along most 'Foods' these days - Mass Production is a lesser quality. But the price is more resonable and affordable. Some egg prices are just a rip-off - exploitation.

My advice:
Do your own Garden with fruit and veges in the backyard and have some chooks, etc in keep as well. Keep it all in good order and hygeine.
It will save you an absolute fortune and enjoy very high quality !!!
Oh, and there is nothing 'spiritual' about eating well.
Also, FAT is good for you - it is like grease upon your engine - you need 'some' to make things work well.

- Jasignature

My mum does this .. she has a quarter acre block and most of the backyard is a full on mini farm.

She grows just about everything .. and it all tastes fresh and YUMMY!

God bless her lol Smiley

Indeed Lisa.
Its the compact Kit Farms that are making any real substantial profit in Australia.

I think the Sydney City Roosters are on Anti-Biotics and even Steroids though.
Did you see how they just break from the scrum.

Ha ha .. unfortunately I am not a Rooster's fan.

Much prefer the cute Bunnies these days ... even though they're pretty hopeless at the best of times lol Smiley
