I watched a movie the other day called "Into the wild", directed by Sean Penn. It was fairly long, about 2 1/2 hrs.

At times it got so boring that I was going to skip to the end to see if there was a point to the movie.

Eventually it grabbed me, and I became intrigued as to where the adventure would lead.

I think the movie did justice to the subject (Christopher Johnson McCandless, aka Alex Supertramp) in pointing out that the journey was the prize, not the destination.
The movie also pointed out the price to others for something that they truly love and admire in a person.

It was more than a movie, it was a real life story.i

That Sargeant got what he deserved. When it came down to it, he didn't have a clue what the soldiers were fighting for, but he found out what they were fighting against.

I haven't seen Equilibrium yet, but Christian Bale is an amazing actor. Have you seen "The Machinist"? He's full on into his craft that bloke.

You would have seen him. He's a bit of a faceless actor.
He played Batman in the dark knight, but he played second fiddle to Heath Ledger in that film.

You'll get an appreciation of how good he is if you ever see The Machinist.

There's probably a lot of other movies that he's been in where I haven't even noticed because he doesn't have any specific trademark.

One of those AAMI "What about me?" car insurance ads.

Geez, ever heard of a no claim bonus????

Some of us (like me) who seem to make a habit of hitting other rather hard objects with our vehicles and then making an insurance claim do pay a sh!tload more in premiums than you "what about me?" lot.

So cut your fuggin' whinging.
