Life is a characteristic that distinguishes objects that have signalling and self-sustaining processes (biology) from those that do not, either because such functions have ceased (death), or else because they lack such functions and are classified as inanimate.

That is the meaning of life.

Yesterday, I saw a car-shaped cloud. I'll ask a similarly meaningful question.

What is the meaning of that cloud?

Off you go then - contemplate your collective navels. My own interpretation is that it is a visible collection of particles of water or ice suspended in the air at an elevation above the earth's surface. In fact, you could say that the answer is :

Blowing in the wind

How many roads must a man walk down
Before they call him a man
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand
How many times must the cannonballs fly
Before they are forever banned
The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind
The answer is blowing in the wind

How many years must a mountain exist

Douglas Adams once wrote, via a character known as "Earth", that the Meaning of Life is .... 42.
He also wrote a small book called "The Meaning of Liff" which sold quite well to those people who must have the complete works of Douglas Adams.

Is there a meaning to life?
Or is it just a feeling?

I think the question, therefore I am the answer ...is there a Meaning to Knowledge ?

I agree that's what 'life' means. It's the meaning of life. The meaning of a word is generally how you define it. I've never heard anybody answer it that way though.
