The topic is .....

"Baillieu Promise  Watch"

A "one man crusade"
And becoming a "full time job"

Alpine grazing shenanigans
December 8, 2010

GRAZING in Victoria's Alpine National Park could put the Federal Government at loggerheads with the new State Government.

Federal Environment Minister Tony Burke has warned Victoria he would have the final say, but Premier Ted Baillieu has promised cattlemen they would regain access after being locked out by the former Labor government in 2005.

Mountain Cattlemen's Association of Victoria spokesman Chris Commins said members were itching to go back into the park.

Victorian National Parks Association spokesman Phil Ingamells said approval under the Federal Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act was needed before cattle could be allowed back in.

True
But isn't that typical leftie ranting.

Going off topic is all they have left.

Just wait until he starts telling you about his stories that go nowhere.

"    We can't bust heads like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to tell 'em stories that don't go anywhere - like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. "Give me five bees for a quarter," you'd say.

Now where were we? Oh yeah: the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones..."

My Dear "Political Blonde",

It was not I that attempted to draw attention away from the wholesale abandonment, modifying, stalling and doomed election policy of the Baillieu Government

Rather than try and defend the novices, he chose to highlight how much his father allegedly made as a "working class" commercial airline pilot during the Australian leg of his career

In fact - it seems NO-ONE has come to Baillieu's defence - or even try to justify or explain his barrow-load of back-flipsIt's a right-wing "no fly zone"

Julia Gillard is going to try and get Ted to deliver the Brumby pre-election promises.

Will Julia Gillard deliver upon Tony Abbott's pre-election promises?

Baillieu

DELIVERS !

(kind of ?)

COMMUTERS may be stuck in traffic for longer after the Baillieu government scrapped extended clearway times aimed at easing congestion.
But a champagne-fuelled crowd of local traders greeted the new Premier Ted Baillieu on arrival in Prahran to overthrow the controversial clearway laws.

Local traders say the removal of the extended clearways - which operated from 6.30am to 10am and 3 or 4 pm to 7pm within a 10km radius of the CBD - will boost sales by between 20-25 per cent.

Mr Baillieu admitted the rollout of new signs would cost about $2 million but he said making good on the Coalition's pre-election promise would be a huge bonus for small businesses.

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/ipad-application/baillieu-delivers-for-road-side-sho...

RACV public policy general manager Brian Negus said the Government's decision was a knee-jerk reaction that would increase congestion in the CBD and force Melburnians to spend longer in their cars.

"Since the rules were introduced in February it has cut commuting time by 9 per cent for drivers and 5 per cent for trams," he said.

"The new Government must now show us what their plan is to ease congestion in the city."

Opposition roads spokeswoman Jacinta Allan seized on the cost blowout as just the first of many Budget overruns.

"How many more uncosted promises are there?" she said. "Ted Baillieu is putting motorists second as they will have to wait longer in congestion."

Do we start a thread on Gillards' backflips? Or do we just simply state that she accepts no responsibility for ANY ELECTION promises whatsoever? I know that hypocrisy is a leftie trait but do you have to MAKE IT SO EASY????

I didn't lose ANYTHING
VICTORIA did
If ANYHING, I personally stand to GAIN

The Liberals will be pork-barrelling the seat of East Ballarat like NO-ONE'S business over the next four years, in a bid to win back their "birthright"

It has ALWAYS "irked" them that Labor should have such a grip on a rural Victorian electorate

He is a shocking loser.
This is showing him up to be ridiculous.

Like I asked you Buzz.

If Labor are allegedly the party of the working man, how come they managed to lose my family's vote so many years ago?

A working class kid like me should have much in common with Labor, but nope, they have done nothing but try to hinder me.

When they start appealing to grass-roots working class people like me, then maybe they will have a stronger voter base.

Would be a very big thread indeed.

Don't you mean generations ago ?
The ONLY way Labor would get your vote, would be to move FURTHER to the right than Tories and Australian Liberal Party

I DON'T see EITHER happening
