self-sufficent has zero corellation with 'poor'. many extremely poor countries are 'self sufficient' and many wealthy countries are not.

Yet in comparison in my time there I paid in tens of thousands more than you.

Hence I contributed a lot more to Australia over that period than you did.
I also employed local people to do work for me etc, you didn't.

This is very in-fitting with your belief that we should all pay more for electricity, gas and other household goods.

Why? Because it doesn't affect you but you want everyone to pay more to fit a belief of yours.

Ideology but not something you are prepared to pay for yourself.

We ALL pay our legislated - and designated - amount during the term of our working life, unless we can "beat the system" via offshore arrangements
