The important thing is that we have seen the back of Brumby.

A pathetic Premier never elected by the people.

Thank god, we have people who are more suited to leadership and governing back at the helm.

Brumby and before him the grease monkey, what a nightmare that was.

$100k stamp duty anyone?

Julia Gillard has appraoched John Brumby since his dismissal.
Would Gillard be trying to convince Brumby to turn Federal?

Well he's arrogant.
He doesn't listen.
He refuses to apologise for his mistakes.
He was rejected each time by the Victorian electorate.
He represented an electorate of pretty scummy people but refused to vote there and chose plush Prahan, so he is a champagne socialist like Buzz.

Sign him up, sounds like he will fit right in.

A move, heavily criticised by Victoria's peak motorist group - the RACV

Considering Gillard has been in power since June what have we seen from her appart from a lack of substance and a policy backflip which she promised we would never see.

Don't worry verge, the lefties like to excuse factual backflips from the ALP and especially Julia Gillard and her No Carbon Tax election promise.
Instead the lefties like to focus on unsubstantiated ALP stories and spin doctoring of the Liberal govt.
Still waiting for these questions to be answered

Apparently?

You mean you are not sure?

And which policies are you alleging he has cancelled?

And why is it that you haven't commented on Julia Gillard's pre-election policy of no-carbon tax, but immediately after the election is trying to bring in a carbon tax?

I hope Teddy - as well as making Christmas pantomines mandatory - will also legislate on golliwogs in toyshop windows, after the Bracks/Brumby Government had them banned

Your
SORE LOSER
attitude is getting old, buzzard.

As I stated PREVIOUSLY
VICTORIA is the "loser"

I am one of the few WINNERS

The Liberals and Nationals are DETERMINED to reclaim their "birthright" and "holy grail" - the Victorian electorates of Ballarat East and West

These will be the most "pork-barrelled" electorates in the state over the next four years

BALLARAT District Nursing and Healthcare will receive $1.8 million to upgrade its headquarters under a Coalition government.
Opposition leader Ted Baillieu announced the funding during a visit to Ballarat this morning.

http://www.thecourier.com.au/news/local/news/general/funding-pledge-for-ballarat...

THE Coalition has boosted its pitch to local voters promising $38 million to build the Ballarat Western Link Road, if it is elected tomorrow.

During a visit to Ballarat yesterday, Opposition Leader Ted Baillieu announced a Coalition government would build the Western Link Road between the Western Freeway and Remembrance Drive.

If elected, the Coalition would spend $10 million to begin planning and acquisition works in the first two years of its term, followed by an additional $28 million to complete the project

http://www.thecourier.com.au/news/local/news/general/38m-coalition-pledge-for-we...

VICTORIANS have back a Liberal Party plan to boost the number of police on the streets should they win the election.

Opposition Leader Ted Baillieu pledged a massive drive to lure officers from interstate as well as training new members with an $8 million boost for the Police Academy.

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/state-opposition-leader-ted-baillieu-pledges-bi...

THE Coalition has stepped up its election campaign with an $18 million pledge to upgrade Sebastopol College.

http://www.thecourier.com.au/news/local/news/general/coalition-pledges-18m-for-s...

So far the biggest election pledge to regional Victoria has been $630 million from the Coalition and $528 million from Labor to rebuild Bendigo Hospital.

Mr Baillieu has also promised $88.4 million for Ballarat Health Services, $2 million for a helipad at Ballarat Hospital and $1.8 million to redevelop Ballarat District Nursing and Healthcare's facilities.

http://www.weeklytimesnow.com.au/article/2010/11/19/261261_politics-news.html

Deflect, as you will - but I note NO-ONE has tey come to Ted's defence on the abandonment of the ...

Bushfire prone land buyback

Replacement of over with underground powerlines in rural Victoria

The "two armed police on every rail station" decision will now be left to the discretion of the police minister

The "stop the windfarms" policy would, "on consultation", result in "hurting the Victorian economy"

self-sufficent has zero corellation with 'poor'. many extremely poor countries are 'self sufficient' and many wealthy  countries are not.

If a country is "self sufficient" it could hardly be described as "poor"
The same could be said for an indivivual that has or can create all his needs

The point is you on numerous occasions have criticised the amount I paid into Australia in tax.

Yet in comparison in my time there I paid in tens of thousands more than you.

Hence I contributed a lot more to Australia over that period than you did.
I also employed local people to do work for me etc, you didn't.

This is very in-fitting with your belief that we should all pay more for electricity, gas and other household goods.

Why? Because it doesn't affect you but you want everyone to pay more to fit a belief of yours.

Ideology but not something you are prepared to pay for yourself.

Champagne socialism.

You are far to the left of me.

In fact I would describe you as a socialist, an ardent one.

We ALL pay our legislated - and designated - amount during the term of our working life, unless we can "beat the system" via offshore arrangements

How much did it cost you in wages for all those locals you employed ?
