State Labor's primary vote has dived from 36.2 per cent to 28 per cent since the state election last November, according to the Newspoll published in The Australian on Wednesday.

By contrast, the coalition's primary vote has climbed from 44.8 per cent to 48 per cent in the same period, delivering it a mammoth lead over Labor.

The figures are the worst Newspoll result for Victorian Labor since 1992, when the party was savaged at the polls by the coalition then led by Mr Kennett.

The poll shows the Baillieu government has a 57 to 43 per cent two-party preferred lead, which would equate to Labor losing 20 seats if an election were held now.

In the better premier stakes, Ted Baillieu out-polled Mr Andrews 57 per cent to 16 per cent.

SHOCK AS BUZZ IS OUT OF TOUCH WITH COMMON SENTIMENT IN VICTORIA.

Yeah real surprised there, because a homosexual living in the middle of nowhere in a put-together house who pays hardly any tax is obviously going to be reflective of everyday Aussies.

Good work Ted, you have my support (amongst many others in my birth state it seems).

Seeing as this is a watch of Baillieu, we should re-state the latest opinions....

I am SO glad to be out of the "loop" of banality - and enjoying a disassocian with the bulk of of
stupid Victorians

How CAN they think this "work experience" government are one for the better, when they have DONE NOTHING - aside from  monumental and wholesale FAILURE after FAILURE ?

Who can forget the key policy of inplimenting ALL of the Bushfire Royal Commision's recommendations - including putting all power lines underground - and a "buyback" of Victorian country towns, relocating all the residents in Melbourne

( ... what BECAME of that policy ?)

I guess it went the way of handing back Victorian National Parks to the beef industry ?

I'm GLAD to BE here
Despite the attempt in TedTown to shut down renewable, clean energy production and investment in Victoria - they AREN'T able to shut US down
The departing planning minister made sure of that
I'm wondering if all the investment BILLIONS, that have now migrated to South Australia, will affect THAT government's future tenability ?

WHATEVER ?

I'm HAPPY
With WIND POWER
SOLAR PANELS
CLEAR RAINWATER
... all the heating fuel I need
A local food co-op, on land pirated from the council, with broad community support

And ALL
...

...

( ... I'm looking at a nice little retirement package, when Hepburn Wind starts it's reguar SALE of carbon credits - under an INEVITABLE emissions trading scheme)

FOLKS ?
I'm LAUGHING
You dug your OWN grave
You can LIVE in it

ENJOY THE HANGOVER !

it seems my few hours a week will fall into the TAX-FREE threshhold - with the new carbon permit income tax compensation package)

Seems the people of Victoria seem pretty happy though eh Buzz?

Part of the American-Australian Chamber of Commerce.

Kim Carr is the dude. I will register your disgust in Labor politics Buzz.

Maybe it is time Ms King "grew  up" ( ... and grew a gonad, or two, in the process)
STOP towing the "party" and START representing the people who put  who put her in power.
I have NEVER voted Liberal.
I NEVER will vote Liberal.
But my GOD, the Greens are looking VERY attractive - as an alternative.
I have given up trying to engage in any dialogue with my local federal member - having not ONCE been given the common courtesy of a response to a letter or email.
Our "relationship" now consists of a wave and a smile at ribbon cutting events.
The LAST token gesture, being at the Hepburn Wind site

... I'm STILL "biased ?
