Nice work Buzz, its been a week.

Think back three years when people said Rudd woulnt deliver and people like yourself used the line "Howard did nothing for 11 years, give them time.

Shoe is on the other foot now.  Enjoy your time on the opposite side.

Just because Brumby lost an unlosable election there is no need for the constant attacks.

and rudd put australia back even further with his egotisitical narcisistical spending

They're ALREADY "trained"
They're called Victorian Police officers

Or is he planning a mass recruitment to the force, to have these new recruits to sit it out (literally) at Melbourne metro's 216 rail stations ?

It WON'T happen !

And you know this how  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Because the Victorian Police Force has been under-manned on the streets for DECADES

Any government that can pull the dollars out of thin air to increase numbers by an odd 500 is NOT going to leave them sitting around in railway buildings reading magazines - waiting for a monthly altercation

NEITHER is allowed to DO so
In both cases they were party, internal and GOVERNMENT documents

The old boy got confused by the street address - which is 1 Treasury Place ...

The official address of the Victorian Government offices

If you refer to the practice of shedding interdepartmental government documents, history will tell you this is standard, best practice by outgoing governments

I cannot recall a "changing of the guard" when this did NOT occur

You'll have to do better than THAT to trash the Brumby Government that gave us the biggest growth and the lowest unemployment - in the country with the internationally recognised most sound and solid economy in the world

No need. They're yesterday's news.

People had enough of -

1) Wasting millions of our money on a pipeline and a Myki fiasco
2) Police corruption and doing nothing about it.
3) Watching Melbourne's crime of ethnic violence rise uncontrollably
4) Watching Victoria speeding fine collections increase by more than any other state but the road deaths also increase by more than any other state
5) A failure of a water policy
6) Arrogantly dreding the bay despire environmental protests
7) Arresting people on their own land
8) Doing nothing to bring down the amount of stamp duty people pay

Goodbye Brumby. Never once elected by the people of Victoria.

Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out, and take your team of 'dirt squad' with you.
The right sort of people are back in charge.

Why would ANYONE take notice of the rants of yet another, bigoted pom ?

One of lifes great mysteries is the mind of the classic "whinging pom"
To this species NOTHING is ever as good as it was "back in England"
Which makes you wonder why they don't STAY there - along with their colonising, white-bread mind-set

Myki

A disaster in ANYONES books
NO-ONE would deny that

What it DOES demonstrate is the sheer FOLLY of the now commonplace, standard practice of public/private partnerships in infrastructure projects

The company cotracted to install MYKI should have been contracted to a FIXED PRICE and not had the option of falling back on the government side of the partnership when things went pear-shaped

That aside. MYKI is but one black spot on an otherwise good record

Rising ethnic crime
Police corruption
Wasted pipeline project

Inept water projects - PS does anyone know what has been happening to the excess rain water Victoria has experience?
Just as an aside the Thomson dam is less than 40% full and the rainwater from the 100% dams has been allowed to run off into the bay. Millions of litres of it at a time.....

Now where was i?

Oh yeah, dredging of the bay.
Stamp duty excess.
Highest speeding fines in the country and also faster accelerating road deaths - showing it is a money grab.

All in all. Poor.

No wonder the people never voted him in and kicked him out first chance.

Oh and I should add arrogance.

In his long speech when he FINALLY admitted the people had kicked him out.

He never ONCE mentioned Myki.
He never ONCE mentioned the North South pipeline.

Never apologised for it and never admitted their failures.

An arrogant Government and he was as poor a Premier as that grease monkey before him.

So you don't have any link?

Rather you want to spread your fantasy as being factual.

He didn't HAVE too
The completion of the Northern Victoria Irrigation Renewal Project (NVIRP) stands on its own in drought-proofing Victoria for generations

Ted Baillieu is relying on the power of prayer - for the NEXT period of drought
