I reckon Turnbull would be a great asset for the Greens but he is wasted in a Coalition that has burrowed itself so deep up the clacker of the Neo Nationalist movement that it needs a Landcruiser winch to extract itself.
The Coalition should be honest and merge into one party and call themselves the
"Against Everything and Will Say and do Anything for a Whinging Bogan Vote Party"

Turnbull should resign from the libs. He could  take a few true Libs with him grab a few disgruntled Labor members and go cap in hand to the GREENS with a plan to create a true environment/TRUE liberal thinking party for all Australians. If enough jumped ship the GREENS could have major party status overnight, with a real chance of government. Menzies did it, so  could he. He;d kick both Labor and Liberal out of the park. VIVA LA REVOLUTION.

You clearly have no idea what Turnball's policies are. Supporting and ETS (which greens opposed btw) is hardly the basis to believe he would fit in with the policy goobers in the Greens.

Longy..Turnbull believes in the future crises coming generations will face if nothing substantial is done to turn around man made climate change..that puts him at odds with most of his Coalition mates that believe climate change is crap.
Compared to most of the people in the Coalition Turnbull is Uncle Ho so he is far better suited to the Greens and there is no doubt he would still win his seat if he ran as a Greens candidate and potential leader of the party
He would also bring financial credibility to the party so its a win win for both of them  Smiley

Hey..even John Howard wanted an ETS..he went to his last election promising one  Tongue

greens_lose - the alp is fated, its days are numbered

True, but after all the ALP's cost blowouts on everything they call a policy then it would seem that the ALP just can't count.
