Keating is a man that was unafraid of hard unpopular decisions, a man whose forward thinking untied the apron strings of England and forced us to accept the Asian markets, a reformer with vision & the guts to enact that vision.Imagine an Australia without Keating & youd be lucky to have an economy as good as Greece's.
Compared to the snivelling rat who was happy to sit back and take the credit from the great unwashed/uninformed for Keatings hard yards.
He was lucky & so were we that Costello was there to rein in the worst of his pork barrelling ways.

LOL sorry smithy, but I was not compering them,though I'm not sure PJK was much of an athlete. sprint is a bit of an oddity, as if you hadn't already worked that one out, he actually admires Keating and the lying little rodent, I know,takes all kinds.

Its a little odd that Abbott fans point to his swimming, cycling and running training as a reason he is a good leader but when it comes to Oakshott who does pretty much the same training and enters in many of the same events as Abbott, they all seem to hate him...go figure.
Maybe Oakshott should parade around in his sluggo's to get the Liberal voters love and affection?

Or maybe..just maybe..being an obsessive compulsive with an addictive proned nacasistic personality has nothing to do with his worthiness to do the job

The treatment of Henry's tax review by the Government was completelty inept and appalling.

They delayed announcement of it for ever because of political reasons, they enacted less than 10% of it and they put his name to a mining tax which was completely different to what he suggested.

If anyone was wondering they lost a majority after just one term, it was this kind of inept policy which was the cause.
