At the end of the day, nothing can excuse or justify the atrocious manner in which this situation was managed, ... The AFL and the St Kilda team failed to live up to their "respect and Responsibility" policy.

ST KILDA mistreated the teenage girl who published photos of naked players, two footy greats said.

St Kilda legend Ian Stewart, a triple Brownlow medallist and member of the club's only premiership team, said his beloved Saints should try to help the 17-year-old instead of calling her malicious and a trouble-maker.

South Melbourne great Bob Skilton said the club had been heavy-handed and should have dealt with the photo issue months ago.

Their remarks came as the teen admitted in a blog that she had made mistakes and needed help. "Today, after having a big night in the city, I sat at Flinders St station for three hours, crying and reassuring everyone who asked me if I was OK that I was fine," she wrote.

"Eventually jumped on the train and headed back towards Frankston, in (the) hope that my parents would let me back into their lives.

"I ran to my mum and hugged her. Not just hugged her, I mean almost suffocated her - that's how much I wanted her to love me again.

"After pouring my heart out to my mother, apologising for everything that I'd done this year, she cried with me and comforted me. It felt good just to have her arms around me for the first time in a week."

THE teenager involved in the St Kilda Football Club nude photo scandal has admitted she lied about taking the lewd images.
The girl said she was emailed the photographs in April last year by a St Kilda footballer.

She said she lied about taking the images because she was in shock.

"That was really stupid of me," the teenager told Nova radio's Hughesy and Kate yesterday.

"I just went into shock when it got that much publicity.

She is still a kid (yep- 18/19 year olds are still "kids")
She makes mistakes easily upon her own steam, like most people do when little, none or 'bad' guidance is around.

She's been knocked-up by people who should know better.
She's been knocked-up by people who won't take responsibility for their actions.
She's been knocked-up by people who can more than afford to 'care' for her future (they obviously have plenty of money to drink alcohol and do drugs).
She's been knocked up by people who aren't prepared to admit that under the above mentioned - its RAPE.

I hope she keeps stitrring the Media broth, cuz its the only way to get justice for her future, although there are many in the Media who are 'pro-St Kilda', etc.

Australian Sportspeople are getting an ever-growing 'bad' reputation around the world.
I dissassociate myself to the so-called "Sporting Australia" at any opportunity.

They knew their players had knocked up a 16 year old schoolgirl, they knew that their players were ridiculing and degrading her online, via emails, facebook, texting photos of her nude to strangers without her consent, but nothing was done until she dared to put a couple of pics up of our 'Saints' on her facebook.

Why care now?

Why not before?

Seems to me, they only cared when it meant preserving their own image...they were happy to continue mistreating her until she made a stand.
