I realise this, though just would have preferred we delved into the case more thoroughly, before handing him $1 Mil compensation.

Honestly, are you entirely satisfied this individual is completely innocent of terror-related charges, activities?

I mean, if you weren't a terrorist yourself, why would you hang out, or live with them?

As a doctor, he's supposed to be about preserving life, so what could he possibly have in common with those into destroying it?

Think about it... things just don't add up here.

....our intelligence agencies are not-happy with the outcome either

The Intelligence community were the ones who were apprehensive about the whole affair. It was the bungling 'keystone cops' AFP and the rabid hatemonger pollies behind thhem who were blindly pushing the case.

On day two, ASIO knew he was clean

I am.

Yeh because when you stay at someone's house, the first thing you ask them is "Oh btw, are you planning to commit any terrorist attacks in a year or so time??". Are you normal?

Total...25 days in custody. Big whoop, when it comes to ensuring our nation remains secure.

So if it happens to you, you'd be fine with it? The intelligence services were assured by day two that he was clean. It was nothing but scaremongering, and it backfired. It had nothing to do with keeping us safe, and if you think it did, you're deluded.

He gave his sim card to his cousin, who then gave it to his brother, over 1 year before the failed attacks. The idea that he had anything to do with it, or that he was providing 'material support' for terrorism is just ludicrous.

Which, UNFORTUNATELY, has to be thoroughly investigated when Muslims are involved. It is the same angle - Islam - that has resulted in everybody being searched at airports, to be unable to take basic items on plaines etc, etc. You fvckers are not trusted. And who's surprised?

A Japanese surfie smuggling dope would not be detained for 3 weeks. Do you feel discriminated againt? Well, stop murdering people indiscriminately, screaming Allahu Akhbar. The worl has joined the dots between Muslims and terrorism, you know.

Islam is the angle.

Merry Christmas.

religionism, xenohpobia call it what you will.

technicalities are irrelevant. It's all the same, it's based on your ignorant, blinded hatred for something other than what you yourself identify with. Ironically the same thing you wrongly identify Islam with all the time. You are in fact an exhibit of it yourself.
