Pretty much bob92. Just like if Muslims never mass immigrate into Australia, and try to boot Aussies out of their homes into refugee camps, most Aussies and Muslims will probably never fight either.

Put it this way, I don't remember too many Palestinians jumping on boats to Russia & Poland to go and fight with Jews, the Jews came to them and forced themselves upon them, overrunning their entire country. From a population of 2% Jews to over 50% Jews within about 50 years.

I reckon if the Muslim population of Australia pushes from 2% to past 10% within 50 years, Aussies will be doing far more against Muslims than the Muslims ever did to the Jews who completely overran their country.

That's a myth even many Buddhists no longer believe.

One example of Buddhism being used to justify murdering people is WW2. Buddhist teachings were used to motivate Zen Buddhist kamikaze pilots.

Good post. I've seen the harshest critics of religion suddenly get gooey-eyed and completely disregard history and reality where Hinduism or Buddhism is concerned. Amazingly some even justify the murder of innocent Muslim or Christian children if the ones who are doing the killing are Buddhists, apparently because  Abrahamic religions are “parasites” and they deserve it.

There have been countless examples of religious violence by the practitioners of Dharmic faiths against minority Muslims and Christians, but they rarely get criticized for it.
