Number 1 country, Pakistan, defended its supremacy over the US yesterday, by showing how it held onto the world's enemy number 1, Osama bin Laden, for many years without the US finding out.

"We keep this man in our country, insh'allah. Even Amerika could not find him. Pakistan has hit a six. God is great," said Hilal Hamed, Pakistani mule handler.

"Some peoples love the Mother England. Some loves US of A. We love our mother Pakistan, the mother of all countries. We are the best country in the world" said Jaarwez Hilaan, 32, newspaper seller.

A surge of nationalism has spread through Pakistan following the capture of Osama bin Laden. Pakistani flags were waved through the streets of Islamabad yesterday. The sole US flag flew at half mast over the American embassy as a show of deference to the fallen idol.

"There's no doubt about it," an unnamed American source said, "Osama has sure raised these people's spirits."

The Amerikan president was unavailable for comment.

So some Paki mule handler has decied that this is a win for Pakistan? It probably is in the sense that the US only took out Bin Laden and some of his entourage instead of turning the entire country into a radioactive wasteland, as a lesser people may have been tempted to do.
