Yes newspaper have traditionally come out in favour of one side or the other IN ELECTION CAMPAIGNS, this I don't really have a problem with.
We aren't in an election campaign it's another 2 years away yet the show(comedy/horror) goes on pushing an agenda.
As I said why, what's in it for them???????

IM not talking about the traditional editorial the week before the election. i dont really beleive that the press is giving labor an unfairly bad time. after all, they are messing up pretty bad on their own. why should they not receive a pasting for the carbon tax? the community in general is doing the same thing. and after 3 years of endless incompetence and massive mony wasting - which you dont even dispute - why should the media not hammer them? Is there some bias? yep - just as there always is. but the real problem is labor performance. there is nothing GOOD to write about? they screw up everything.

Indigenous housing exceeds targets

STAFF WRITERS

THE Federal Government says its indigenous housing program in the Northern Territory exceeded building and employment targets during 2010.

Almost
1200 families
in remote communities now have improved housing, with
174 new houses
built and
1023 rebuilds and refurbishments
completed under the
Strategic Indigenous Housing and Infrastructure Program.
The program has also exceeded its employment target.

The program also aimed to employ indigenous people at a rate of one in five.
The rate achieved was closer to one in three.

Federal Indigenous Affairs Minister Jenny Macklin, in releasing the figures on Monday, said the Government was rolling out new houses, rebuilds and refurbishments in the NT as quickly as possible. "Getting housing right is critical to closing the gap on indigenous disadvantage," she said in a statement.

The Government's commitment to the program is 750 new houses, 230 rebuilds and 2500 refurbishments, she said

As I told you 2 years ago when you were frothing at the mouth with delight at the liberals poll woes, these things come in cycles. You chose to not beleive it and are now proven comprehensively wrong.
.

Wrong ?
Not at ALL

Back them I claimed Labor would ROMP it in "if an election were held TODAY"

NOT "if an election were held in two years time"

you were predicting the DESTRUCTION of the liberal party.

and you didnt say if an election  was held that day. that is simply a lie.

but get used to living in a country where projects are delivered that actually work and have a benefit.

As Tingall said on Insiders yesterday, the public will be sick of Abbotts whining and lies in two years from now, he either has to aim up, or piss off and give someone capable of policy formation a go.
if Gillard holds on for the next two years, she'll beat Abbott. if the Libs install a new leader between now and then, she's f.c.ed.

said the same thing 18months ago when abbott became leader. since that time he has turned the polls around from 16% DOWN to 12% UP. 28% improvement,
you people only HOPE abbott will go because he is massacring your pathetic party on a daily basis.
