Agree.
I run about 8km every morning at 5.30am before work, it gets you ready for the day.
You have plenty of time on your own to think about all the things you need to do, you clear out all the cobwebs so to speak and you're ready to roll by the time you pick up that starbucks at 7am!

Compare that to the ones in the office who roll out of bed at 8.20 and come into work!!

Running is also very good for you.

I knew someone who had a lawnmower 'accident' which occurred in the manner implied - I understand that it was messy...

That would give him the right to visit with an iron bar. Very untidy!
