Aust & NZ statement of common intent

WTF for?

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/national-affairs/new-zealand-prime-minister-john...

AUSTRALIA and New Zealand have launched a statement of common intent on climate change with the long-term aim of an Australasian carbon emissions trading system.

Announcing the move with NZ Prime Minister John Key today, Julia Gillard said Australia could learn from it's near-neighbour, which had already introduced a carbon price.

"We love Kiwis, they are family for us. But I think Australians would be asking themselves - if the Kiwis have the guts to price carbon, why can't we?" the Prime Minister said.

Mr Key said an Australasian emissions trading scheme made sense because the nations' economies were so closely linked.

But he cautioned Australia and New Zealand approaches to dealing with carbon trading were independent of each other.

"What Australia does is up to Australia," Mr Key told The Australian this morning.

Australian carbon emissions -
1.35%

New Zealand carbon emissions -
0.11%

And we are going to take advice from NZ?

And the World is going to take notice from a couple of country bumpkins that emits at best 1.45%?

So Liberals consider Australians country bumpkins.

Nice to see your true colour being shown so clearly.

Now back to topic, a Hard Right Government pushing a price on carbon because they believe in the science.

Make a bigger joke of Abbott and his lib party faction of scientific denial.

You mean your view is actually a serious view. Sorry I didn't realise you believe that leadership is a thing to fear. I thought you were joking.

And as far as name calling, reflects more on the name caller.
