But my favourite is the one (from Penn and Teller??) where they went to an Earth Day or some other Festival and gathered signatures to ban DiHydrogen Monoxide...That's a hoot and a half..

Gore said that IF THE WORLD'S ICE CAPS ENTIRELY MELTED then it could raise sea levels by 200 ft. That is factually correct. Sure, he could have done a better job at informing his audience that such an event wouldn't happen for a thousand years even in the worst case scenario, but it was still a statement of fact. Gore made some minor errors, indulged in some sensationalism, but overall the presentation was an accurate depiction of where the science stands.
