Maqqa & the Liberal Conservatives (a great oxymoron) also ASSuME that AUS-terity will fix the current local & Global Economic woes, IT WILL NOT!

Maqqa & the Liberal Conservatives also ASSuME that they are the natural masters of the Economic universe, BUT THE ARE NOT, they are simply mired in a past that bears no resemblance to now or the future!

If your still having troubles Maqqa, I can give you lessons in Economics 101 & I may throw in free lessons for Abbott-a-bad, as well?

Go ahead, make my day?

You could start with this lot -

Maqqa's first error here, is to ASSuME that the real/primary purpose of the Carbon Tax is relating to a Climate fix!

It is not, the primary reason for the Carbon Tax, is that it is a revenue raising tax. Furthermore, when the Liberals do win their next election, they may well scrap the Carbon Tax, but (if they do) they will replace it with another tax and they will do so for the same reason, that taxes will have to increase, to pay for expenditures that must grow substantially in the years ahead!

Which reminds me of another ASSuMPTION that Maqqa has been making for some time, which I recently commented on.

No, that can't be right, Maqqa & the Liberals said the rates were going up & Maqqa is always RIGHT?

One
I am glad you admit it's NOT about Climate Fix - therefore everyday that Gillard move her lips about Climate Change and the carbon tax she's lying

Two
Gillard: "There will be no carbon tax under a government I lead". You have no proof other than veil assertions

Three
Where did I say it is the panacea of local and global economic woes.

SLAP SLAP SLAP

You need to pay attention to your comprehension more, don't just read what I right, try to understand a little, as well!

I have been saying, for quite some time that Labors Carbon Tax Plan & the Liberal ETS/Direct Action Plans would not achieve any noticeable affect on Climate Change and that the main motivations were not directed at Climate Change!

I also agree that Gillard/Labor have been & are telling porky pies, BUT so are the Liberals!

Hello, is all that a surprise, to anyone?

??? - If you are talking about Abbott not having a Carbon Tax, that's correct?
He will scrap the Carbon Tax, but introduce another tax, under another name and scrap expenditure, because more future funds are needed, for things such as Pensions & Health Care, due to the Baby Boomers

So, can you categorically deny that the Libs will introduce big AUS-terity programs?

I think not, it's in their DNA!

You failed to understand and admit that we would not be implementing a carbon tax if Rudd had not ratified Kyoto

So it's disingenuous to even say that Abbott's going to do it anyway

he's doing it to fix Rudd & Gillard's mistake

This is like your daughters coming home and telling you she's pregnant

are you not going to acknowledge and condemn the prick that screwed her in the first place?

Rudd screwed Australia in 2007

where's the condemnation of that?

the result of this shafting means Australia must meet its obligation of it must pay a financial penalty

so this Carbon Tax is about fixing the mistake Rudd/Gillard made when they ratified Kyoto

This tax on carbon energy is the very peak of Gillard's arrogant stupidity. She stabbed Rudd because she believed the canberra Press Gallery that  she is a fvcvking good news girl. SHe ain't. She is no principled reformer, she is just an arrogant opportunist.

She wants to tax our own energy use. The Arabs are not proposing a tax on their own use of their oil, or the Venezuelans on their own use of their oil. The Chinese aren't proposing a tax on their own coal mines, the Russians on their own gas production. Gillrad wants to tax Australians for the use of Australian energy. There is NO tax on imported energy. Only on local energy.

Gillard is NOT taxing the use of Australian coal overseas. She is taxing ONLY the Australian use of Australian coal. Mad.

Secondly, we are going to buy permits from other countries to burn our own coal. How smacking crazy-green is that?? We will send billions of dollars to some buggered up corrupt dictator to buy a permit to use our own energy resources.

She is so incapable of standing for anything principled that she will even bugger up a perfectly good idea - reduce energy costs by switching to something perpetual, harmless and cheap.

soren if this was all good she would just legislate it and it would be idone and dusted.she has the numbers...instead here we are another 12 months of WHAT for gods sake.?? she will not allow us a vote on it..so what the hell is the point?

nothing this lot have done makes any sense to me... I thought I was alone.. but I see you see the same flaws I do..pathetic.

everything this mob is/has done is truly expensive and long winded and chaotic, and in the end has to be reversed..

and as for buying carbon credits from. countries that are mostly controlled by rebel groups.. drug lords. or dictators..really we will be bankrolling armies and weapons galore..

most of our foreign aid cant be accounted for.. so this will be well received thats for sure.
