The Poms didn't play well - they'll have to do a lot better than that
to beat some of the other contenders.

Hi Sprint,
I think I should put my house on the Wallabies -
I'd get 5 houses if they win - the're paying 5 to 1.  Grin

Always nice to put one over those Argie bastards in any sport.

Be in football or rugby - and they aren't having our Falkland Islands either.

That will make them think twice before invading the Falklands again.
They'll get a ruddy good thrashing if they try.  Grin

Neither did the Kiwis, Aussies, Frogs and South Africans.

All of those teams will have to play better if they want to win the tournament.

You obviously didn't see the opening match where
the All Blacks scored many spectacular tries.

Wasn't that the match in which the All Blacks fans thought would be a 50-60 point win, at the very least, for their team?

New Zealand will get past the group stage and then, once up against one of the big boys in the latter stages, they'll blow it.

The All Blacks choked against France last time - to lose out at a chance for the World Cup.

yes, it would not take much to rattle the kiwis.
"their strength is their weakness"

What are their plans if Dan Carter can't play ?
Sonny Bill Williams is their ace up the sleeve.

SA can't do it, nor england.
Aussie has the flair, versatility, confidence and panache to win it.

Don't write off England yet.
They somehow change the game into a team of all forwards
& win with power & determination.
The Argys couldn't even pass the ball down their backline -
it's hard to score against England.

A team of 15 bulky forwards would be pretty formidable.

Defense oft wins the big games.

I'll make sure I see the english play

I am running a footy tipping comp for the finals in the RWC amongst my family.

BIG question is ......... who will I pick when the ABs and wallabies turn up in the grand final .........
