The coalition cannot hold their position on this much longer. All of Labor and about half of the liberals support action on climate change. It is getting very hard to figure out what the coalition policy on climate change actually is. Sooner or later they will be forced to follow Turnbull's lead.

I'd most likely vote for Turnbull & Co, depending who the Co is. I would expect them to be just left of centre.

Grin Grin

How many left-of-centre parties does it take to get the left-of-centre agenda right??

"Left-of-centre' now means 'another fooking village idiot'.

why should Abbott say anything to be honest this lot constantly shoots themselves in the foot..are you really suggesting after all what has happened in this 4 year...they will get CARBON TAX RIGHT????

havent you notices human cause has now gone off the radar..

all another ploy to have a massive change of mind..which seem to be the way of the left..

the Libs do not deny climate change..sheeeeeze.. its the human content they raged about 3 years ago..that we ask questions about... how dare we?...shame on us asking questions.. you will now be labeled sceptics for ever more..boo hoo.

the way I is see this massive tax now FD.. is its a massive TAX GRAB.. sorry but I have seen nothing that will convince me its otherwise..

now more than ever this govt will be desperate for money they dont have to borrow..

and if it means sending more manufacturing down the gurgle so what ??.. we need the money  and we need it now.

Agreed - things must come to a head and it remains to be seen who will instigate the showdown...and when...

Turnbull is patiently chipping away at Abbott's confidence - and support - which will only make Abbott all the more desperate to get rid of his arch rival...

Either way, how do you solve a problem like Tony Abbott!?

Lamenting the shift in the Australian psyche, away from the egalitarian ideal of the fair-go - and the rise of short-sighted pollies, who worship the 'Growth Fairy' and seek to divide and conquer!

You don't seem to understand that Lib voters do not want turnball as our leader. He can start his own party if he chooses... but only Labor voters will vote for him!!

Turnbull IS NOT chipping away TA's followers..... no way!

You lot need to look at your own govt that you all voted for!
