I know that they meter out punishment like that for minor crimes
like drinking beer or smoking a cigarette.
If he was a murderer I could understand it but really in that case

Haven't watched the video, so couldn't say.

Generally speaking though, my opinion on the issue is moot, as I don't believe Malaysia is a valid state, and therefore neither support nor oppose any punishments they dish out. My opinion on Malaysia is focused on the issue of their invalid leadership being replaced by an Islamic Caliphate, not on whether I personally like or dislike any particular law/punishment they might have. For me that's the only issue that has any relevance regarding Malaysia.

I understand now -
if it was a valid Islamic Caliphate then the barbaric caning would be O.K.

Abu supports barbaric caning & he was
too gutless to watch the video of his holy laws in action.

There'll be none of this dragging someone into a dark alley and shooting them in the head. You fill out the paperwork, then drag them into a dark alley and shoot them in the head.
