Laurie was top of the game about 20 years ago, he is still a very reasonable journo and the article you refer to is just basic reflection of fact. I did not see any grand opinionated statement making nor any outrages claims. Yes Gillard has do better with image management, remember she hire a coach. The gap has closed and the coalition hate IR, its poison for them in perception and they will work hard to over come the problem.

What is wrong with the coalition having a think over christmas. They all are and new tactics will be needed, the just say no policy has worked well but signs are that it is loosing its sting.

Yes Matty Laurie is still a good political commentator.

Lol, it wouldn't surprise me cods. Nothing that Julia, Booby or Oakeshott do will surprise me, all three are as desperate as each other (throw Oakes in there as well) to cling onto thier soon running out power.

well being a lefty you would see him that way... but being a righty I can promise you the only time he says anything remotely positive about the right its always with a side check about labor.. he is in their pockets dna.. even he basically admits it..the only thing he does do is if he gets a HOT leak he likes to be first with the news.. and then he doesnt have any bias..
at least that we know of...but to pretend he is anything but a fawning lefty is a bit weak.maybe you have never seen him interview gillard or rudd.. he almost dribbles..
