Some sort of vocational training would be a better idea for those that have no interest in continuing formal schooling.

I do believe that it is year 12 or the equivalent (i.e. Certificate III)

Poverty isn't just caused by lack of education or motivation.

That's where the Govt (and oppn) and many of the public get it so bloody WRONG!

Not that they actually care.....jut so long as they get THEIR
slice of the welfare pie, who cares about those in genuine NEED?

Of course teenagers do tend to think they invented sex.....and are also usually fairly stubborn about being told (advised) not to do something....

Witness the smoking, drinking and speeding stats....Teens tend to think 'it'll never happen to me'.....

Girls need to be told that if a boy puts it in they will get pregnant.

There is something wrong with forcing people who don't belong in Capitalism to be exploited by capitalism. These single mums should have the opportunity to work for a cause and in industry that benefits them and there own kind. History tells us that capitalism needs hard workers to work to death so the corporate welfare class can have an easy life. This is not honorable labor - it is an abomination. Most decent civilized people are not capitalists at heart and they should not be forced to slave for those cut throat evil parasites. A single mother probably has a lot to offer but she will never be rewarded in a capitalist enterprise - they are only interested in exploiting her and working her to death.

By suggesting single mothers shouldn't work in a society like ours, you are disempowering them. Women should be encouraged to become independent, and whether you like it or not, for most women that means financial security through working.

And just a tip. Your rude little displays of arrogance do absolutely nothing for your cause. You won't be taken seriously until you grow up a bit - it's very obvious that you're quite young.
