Attaching pics.
Dec 22nd, 2011 at 12:56pm

I suddenly (today) find I'm having trouble attaching pics to my posts.

I'm getting an error message saying that they are way too big.
I know they aren't.

I've copied pics already posted by others and tried to attach them with no success.

Anyone got any clues>>

don't bother with attaching pics froggy

www.tinypic.com allows you to upload pics without registering and on the spot, whenever you want

then copy anhe image URL (link) inside the [IMG] tags when it comes up on the loaded page on tinypic and put them here

test

Yes - you are right - even a small photo of only 25.7 K
gives this message:

With this file GetPhotoCAMEDD43.jpg (126181 KB) you exceeds the maximum allowed upload-directory volume.

There is something wrong.

Thanx, bobby.
Glad is the wrong word, but I'm (sort of) glad it's not just my PCs.
I get the same message. 126181 KB.
Plus another message under the dialogue box asking me to browse photo again. Something about security.

I tried from two different PCs with the same result.
I was thinking it was just me.
Wonder where we go from here.

Imp gave me an alternative earlier, so if it doesn't come good I will try it.

Wonder if Moz, or FD, could be of help???

Tongue
Edit:
Wonder if it has anything to do with ISP?
I'm S/W Sydney.

The new software must have a bug.
Maybe if Freediver reboots it the problem will go away?

So tinypic works?

I'll give it a go. I'll try something I'm used to posting on the net.... a knob shot....

Hopefully this works.....

Definitely a techno noof noof!!

Managed to upload to tinypic, then got lost.

Went back into tinypic and couldn't find pics.

Do you have to join-up to use their system?

(Need a 'tearing-hair-out' smilie)
