An interesting thread. My prediction? Well, I reckon Laboe will slowly, but surely increase their standing. The carbon tax is old news now, but Gillard still needs to address the boat issue. My bet would be a backflip to go Nauru - put up with the Opposition carping - but then accept the accolades. But do it now rather than later.

Abbott - don't like the man, but he has polarised the Libs and bought them from a certain oblivion - can he continue? Don't think so. Once the big ticket issues are fixed - he will need to go. Will Gillard stay? I think so - there re some contenders there for the job, but we are winding into election mode in themiddle of the year, so I reckon she will stay.

I have stated before i am a traditional labor man. But, in the last election i looked at the candidates in my electorate and actually voted for the guy who I thought would represent my electorate. that bloke was a lib - Greg Hunt - so far he hasn't let me down
