Is it not also an interesting fact that the first Moslem also suffered from a mental illness. If he were alive today his psychotic interludes could have been relieved, possibly cured and his seizures arrested.

Did you know that 14% of Australians will at some stage suffer from some sort of mental problem.

You can help Abu Rashid join Beyond Blue.

Demon possession is beyond the scope/capacity of human help or resolution.
....because demon possession is essentially a spiritual condition which the carnal mind does not comprehend.

Even especially the use of psychotropic drugs [by leftist, God hating psychiatrists] will only exacerbate the problem of demon possession.

People who have problems with 'their' demons need to directly call on God for help, relief.

But people who have 'problems' with demons rarely have the wit to call on God for help.

Catch 22.

Conclusion;
The damned are,   ...damned?

God is such a bad [unreasonable] dude....
/sarc off

Matthew 13:12
For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Romans 9:18
Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
19  Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

Regards demons and demon possession, i came across this interesting post [a couple of years back], on the ABC ENOUGHROPE online forum....

"From: Lucy      7/04/2008 11:10:15 PM
Subject: re: Has anyone connected belief with mental illness?      post id: 1379

My son has schizophrenia and believes that the goodness of Christianity has saved him. Since reading the bible he no longer sees demons- if the demons ever reappear he reads the bible again and prays and the angels save him. How can I argue with that? better to be saved by an angel than tormented by a demon. That is how he lives with it. I should mention that prior to his illness he was not religious."

IMO, Lucy's account reveals good advice.
...for spiritual protection [from demons], read the Bible, and pray [ask God to protect you].

IMO, reading the Bible is a form of spiritual invocation.

But people who hate God are too 'clever' to believe that.        Grin

Again, the Catch 22 paradigm comes into play.

Protect yourself from demons???

How?

Pursue and defend Truth.

Always.

Or be damned by your own choice(s).
