Truth and Political Correctness
Jan 20th, 2012 at 5:46pm

Everyone is screaming out for their politicians to tell the truth - nothing but the truth. People are sick of the spin and evasions

But when the politicians do so - we shot them down for not being politically correct. But is it the majority of Australians who are making these accusations or is it just a minority, oversensitive, got nothing better to do group that pretends to represent mainstream Australia?

So if you are not prepared to accept the answer - then don't ask the question.

It's time the majority of Australians stood up and tell the minority to STFU already.

the problem is that the majority are drones.  They will think what the media tells them to think, and the media are doing quite well out of the status quo.  The status quo being a propensity to feign outrage where there really is none.

You have a good point. We demand truth but attack those that tell it. And then we vote for proven liars like Gillard and Rudd. so where's the surprise thet pollies lie.

The vast majority of OZ voters are also followers and then there are the Politicians & Political assistants, from all Political party's, who are simply part of the spin machine and wouldn't know the truth, if they fell over it!

people who post this kind of nonsense in threads like this dont actually want truth - they want they own opinions vindicated and nothing more.
