And, studying the Bible, knowing the relationship of the Jewish people to my God, that is another reason why i will stand beside a Jewish person, any day.

I simply see Jewish people, as people like myself.

People lost in the world, strangers in a strange land, wandering in the wilderness, looking for the way home, waiting for our redemption.

I will always count Jewish people as my 'brethren' [even if some of them may not see me in the same terms].

It ['election', being 'chosen' by God] is not, was not, about 'ethnicity'.

In being 'chosen' the Jews had 'a head start' on all other men.....

Romans 3:1
What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?

But that is all.

The Jewish people have 'a head start', in our journey to God.

Leviticus 20:26

But in any case, the Hebrew/Jewish people failed to keep their covenant to remain 'pure' and righteous.

The circumcision of a Jewish man, was a symbol of the 'cleanliness' [righteousness] which God required in his people.

But the 'cleanliness' [the righteousness] which God required, was a standard that all men would fail to attain, and a standard which the Hebrew people would fail to retain.
