Bobby, whats wrong, you're afraid that I've exposed you for the troll you are?   Grin Grin

The links you post, invariably do not support the premises you produce.  There is nothing in that link that all the F-117s have been "buried" as you claimed.   You owe us an apology for you have failed dismally to produce any real evidence to back your claim.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Dear Brian,
If a few F117s are still flying then it still proves the entire premise or meaning.
The fact is -  F117s were buried rather than sold to us.
They would have mighty handy compared to whatever we'll get now.

This thread is however about subs so is being sidetracked.

If your mind is not open to more than one source then
that is your problem - not mine.
I will continue to provide alternative sources without your
permission or limp wristed assertions.

forgiven

No F-117s have been buried.

We have never asked to purchase F-117s.

The US has never offered the F-117 to us or any other nation.

You have been exposed as the troll you really are.

You are forgiven.

Namaste.

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Only those who have attained enlightenment may forgive to such extremes as
I have with your twaddle.

The US did not sell us the retired F117s because we did NOT ask to buy them

We did not ask to buy them, because we did not need that capability or could we have easily added them to our inventory for the short period they may have been operationally effective.

There are lots and lots of old retired aircraft from the US that we don't ask for, for the very same reasons, it's not a conspiracy; you are just clueless.

BO64,

"There are lots and lots of old retired aircraft from the US that we don't ask for"

Davis-Monthan AFB is a fascinating place, rows and rows of everything from chopped up  B52s to B1bs to Hueys.  The B52s are zapped by a chopper so the Russians can count them via satellite to conform with SALT2.

You could just about get the world's second best air force at DM, in fact if OZ really wanted to,  they could out-gun the Indonesians in short order.
