whats so great about being gifted with a truly fabulous voice and then destroying it and dying young as a drug addict? talk about a classic WASTE.

Whats the point of living such a life if you can't remember it or recognise the person on the album cover that people say is you?

3 steps forward.
5 steps back.

...alas, she didn't recover to go 20 steps ahead down the track.

The entertainment industry has a drug problem.  Sorry but I have no sympathy for them.

You should keep your judgement to yourself nobody is interested.  Go away, this is a respectful thread for a great singer - go crawl back under that sterile empty control freak holier than though rock you crawled out from. Cool

Who said drugs were safe?

If you want safe, just keep worshipping your Government, believing everything they tell you and obeying everything they say - sleep now.  But some of us want to live life on our terms, live our own lives, make our own mistakes. Cool

To demonstate that I am a reasonable person I WILL NOT report you to the mods for failing to work the word racist into your post. Take this as your first and last warning. Please get back on safe ground and inject the word racist as often as is possible into your posts.

Dear Meat (head) do yourself a small favour and play some of her music, then you might appreciate what the rest of us are talking about.

Dear Baron

I've heard, created and played more music in half my life than you ever will have the chance to listen to on your little ipod.

I've listened to Whitney many times and even saw her perform live (which was the worst concert I've ever seen in my life), and in my opinion she was absolute crap.

I prefer real music.

Having said that, she was probably a lovely person and I certainly don't wish the poor woman dead.

However, her "music" will not be missed by me.

""Disappointed" and "disgraceful" were perhaps some of the gentler terms used by concert-goers in Brisbane to describe a recent show by the legendary and often highly-acclaimed singer, Whitney Houston.

"It's the worst concert I've ever been to in my life," said one audience member while standing in the parking lot of the Australian arena during Houston's set.

In fact, some viewers were so displeased by what they saw and did not even stay for the entire show. Many left midway through the concert and expressed their severe dissatisfaction with the pop diva, ... "

100 years of boring pain? Don't you have any fun things to do? No toys? Cheesy

I loved her music and always thought of her as a spunk, but sadly, I don't agree with the idea of her 'living life to the fullest' or 'shining bright' for a flicker of a moment ...when all that self destruction just ruins such a moment. She will be remembered as an awarded Singer and a Drug Addict.

Yeah, it all went downhill when she got married.

She should never have gotten married. Maybe she should have avoided this train-wreck altogether, to get a career change and become a nuclear scientist.

Bobby Brown ...... what kind of name is that? May Bobby lose his voice like Whitney did and never sing again.
