Latham is an absolute loony who I would argue is even more hated then Abbott if that's possible, nevermind the fact you have to be an elected member of parliament to run for the leadership, which he isn't.

By your logic, Paul Keating and John Howard could challenge in leadership spills.

Didn't realise you felt challenged, so had a point to prove.

I realise Mark isn't an option due to not being an elected MP. Now if a third person was to be advanced, then they should be someone out of the blue. Someone lesser thought of up to now.

Only way to end this rift within Labor is either Gillard backing off for Rudd or someone else comes through and puts a line under the Rudd/Gillard period.

Unfortunately for Gillard, she is in a position where she can not win in the longer term.

guess what woody we have been in limbo since june 2010.. probably even before then..

we have to wait for gillard to run everything past the greens and independents..
