Rudd refused the leadership by not running, no backstabbing took place.

Gillard is a member of the left faction CW, what did you expect. Unfortunately she sold out that faction to keep in with the faceless men of the right faction.

So did the liberals play any political games to get Rudd deposed?

Kevin Rudd allegedly described Julia Gillard as 'childless, atheist, ex-communist' during pub rant, say witnesses

But Mr Rudd's spokesman last night said: "These allegations are lies. Mr Rudd was invited to the function by the then premier (Mike) Rann and his wife. Mr Rudd spent the entire evening out with them."

Former South Australian premier Rann said of the evening: "I did not see or hear any inappropriate behaviour or comments by Mr Rudd. Nor did I hear him attack or criticise the Prime Minister or the government."

One witness who was at the pub said: "He said he was going to make a comeback. From that point on, for the whole 12 months, he's been texting journalists in the middle of the night. He was telling anyone who would listen this was Kevin '07 - the comeback year."

The Liberals are not important at present - sending the Current Governing Political cabal into political annihilation is. Cheesy

We need to send a clear message to the labour party that we wont tolerate them preselecting such a bunch of liberal elite crack-pots and ideological fanatics to Govern us and that its time it became a Labour party again. Cool

What Gillard did wrong was to pretend that Rudd was the king's pin---

Does anyone remember, during parliament sessions, she nodding vehemently to everything Rudd said?

I don't know what sort of mentality comprise these latest polls but Rudd reminds me of Hitler, all talk and ambition but without ammunition.

It's best to bide our time with Gillard - just take anything she says with a grain of salt.

Hopefully, some "working Austrlians" have now got their measure of over-the-top socialists.

Overlook Abbott's Catholic background and not look at his jug-ears -

Abbott, unlike Gillard and Rudd, knows better than to act like a dictator.

The sore point is that Laborites don't start up industries, that is up to the nasty employers--

True, these have to abide by rules but rules have to be tempered to encourage industries to open, not do so overseas.
