Even the treatment of non-Askhenazi Jews isn't that crash hot.
But nothing like the sunni/shia mutual bombing, surely.
The Palestinians locked behind razor wire in Jordan and Lebanon wouldn't be feeling the love from their Muslim brothers right about now.
Lebanon is not a Muslim country; its president is Christian.
60% of Jordan's population is Palestinian, and when I visited, I did not see them living behind razor wire.t census was held it was a Christian- majority country. The president of Lebanon is Christian.
Jordan's population is 60% Palestinian. None of the many Palestinians I met in Jordan lived behind razor wire. Many of the palestinians worked in the university I attended.
Quote:More than 2 million registered refugees live in Jordan.
All Palestine refugees in Jordan have full Jordanian citizenship with the exception of almost 140,000 refugees originally from the Gaza Strip, which up to 1967 was administered by Egypt. They are eligible for temporary Jordanian passports, which do not entitle them to full citizenship rights such as the right to vote and employment with the government.

So the Jordanian government has given full citizenship to almost 2 million Palestinian refugees.
Australians are up in arms when a few thousand refugees turn up. The Jordanians have looked up their Muslim brothers.
