Labor's UN Non Permanent Seat Bid
Mar 2nd, 2012 at 2:05pm

Since Labor is still planning on going after Kevin Rudd's baby, a non permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council, which comes to a vote in October.

Will Labor now recognise Palestine's right to a seat at the UN.

Without it, our bid is doomed.

Will Labor go against Israel and gain the vital Arab votes, or will they continue their anti Palestine stance and blow our non permanent UN Security Council Seat bid.

Also, if supporting Palestine, will Labor back the BDS

Then we might as well dump the non permanent security seat application.

Can't get it by upsetting the Arab block

Is it important? If so, to whom is it important.

I'd rather get a gold SCG membership.

Prediction: they'll do what they always have and vote exactly the way the US do.

The UN is currently our main system for world governing.

On one hand people hate the UN, and on the other they oppose forming a democratic one world government.

Well people, it's one or the other, or the third option : Anarchy.

Time to decide.

And all the western countries that vote against Palestine, majority of their people support Palestine's UN application. Be is the US, Australia, Britain, who ever.

The western governments refuse to represent their majority.

True, but if they did, they'd be bringing back the cane, the death penalty, getting rid of taxation and increasing government services.

Yet we have to decide

The UN or a Democratic One World Government.

Then work through that system to gain the best outcomes.
