You must have got hold of some goodshit!

I might have left someone out. I think the foreign office in Burundi are currently debating their position.

The representative of Australia expressed strong support for Palestine’s sovereignty, saying his country was taking practical steps, including donating $300 million over the next five years.  Australia had changed its negative vote to an abstention, instead of supporting the text, because it did not recognize Israel’s legitimate security needs.  Australia was committed to the peace process and to a negotiated two-State solution, he said, urging the two sides to return to direct talks as a matter of urgency.

Seems like reasonable support. Undecided

It does, doesn't it. It sounds exactly like the position of the US State Department too.

I'm not sure. Do you think we should ask the State Departments of Kazakstan, the Marshall Islands and Burundi?

They might know something we don't.

The UN is about as useful and ought to be consigned to the same place as the League of Nations.
If you are the US, UK, France, China or Russia you can veto any action even if every other country supports it. That's what they really think of democracy.
Last I heard the US was the biggest debtor to the UN.

I agree with you. You're saying we shouldn't give tinpot countries with corrupt dictators an equal vote in global decision-making because they'll just trade their votes for whatever's in their best interest, right?

With the exception of Burundi, Kazakstan, the Marshall Islands and Australia.

We vote on principle.

Do you think you are winding Matty up Pony?

Do you have an original thought on this?

I see. You were previously against a global decision-making body. Perhaps you have changed your mind.

You're not Matty, are you?

No, i'm against any global decision making body, it's really simple.

Ah, good. And while we're at it, lets do away with the internet, foreign trade, the telegraph, all transnational communication, regional decision-making bodies and trading blocks, multinational corporations, currency speculation, foreign investment, people smuggling and cheap airfares.

That should fix it.

Enjoy your can, Friyay. It's Friday!

I see. You think some countries should be left out of global decision-making. Do you base this on their puppet governments, Friyay, or their attractiveness as tourist destinations?

Well I find China having a vote on human rights violations in other countries to be a tad galling.

Anybody who thinks Palestine will get a seat with or without our support in the current political climate are p*ssing into the wind.

And anyone who thinks the United States will take a stronger anti-Israel, pro-Palestine view in an election campaign year also needs a serious reality check.

Both Obama and Romney will go hell for leather for the Jewish vote.

Florida is a must-win state.
