British Mandate For Palestine From 1920-1945

The British Mandate for Palestine covered the territories of Palestine and Transjordan, administered separately

In 1946, Jordan was declared independent, Palestine remained under British mandate until 1948 despite many jewish terrorist attacks against the British and Palestinians.
