And , disarming the entire middle east isn't ever going to happen.
UNIFIL sits today in Lebanon whilst Hezbollah re-arms right under their noses, and they can do nothing to stop one terrorist group only from re-arming.

There is a huge fight in the local pub.
In order to solve the problem you drive down to the pub
& give everyone knives, swords & handguns.

The Middle East is a powder keg & although people will
be unhappy to have their weapons taken away from them -
is there any other solution?

Not at all.
Israel's former enemies in the Arab League now trade with Israel, and that trade expands each year.
Israel continues to supply them with items they cannot manufacture for themselves.
Egypt has even actively assisted Israel in keeping Hamas terrorists in check and behind their wall.
These countries have finally worked out that if they leave Israel alone, there will be no war.
The extremist groups, well there will only ever be peace with them once they are exterminated, and not before.
They feel nothing but hatred, and are willing to sacrifice their own children just to kill Jews.

Israel took out the facility at Osirak with its fighters because it threatened Israeli existence.

Were they proved right?

What happened in the Gulf war?
The USA, Oman, Saudi, Kuwait, UK, France in the coalition to drive Iraq out.

Where did Iraq fire its scud missiles?

Jersualem and Tel Aviv.
Israel was not even a part of the coalition....

Proved right. Arabs are unhinged lunatics intent on Israel's destruction. They cannot and will not be allowed nuclear weapons.

Netanyahu has hardly not been clear on that.
Neither has Obama to give him his credit.
