Work friends of mine who have been in the IDF tell me there is a statement you sign at the beginning of service relating to this and the penalties of making any comment on Israel's weapons programme.

So on the flip side is there any evidence that Iran even has the capability to produce nuclear weapons?

Not the point, at all.
Israel and the United States have made their stance clear.
All of this is just background noise.

Their stance on what, things that havent actually happened and there is no evidential plan for them to happen?

Continued enrichment of uranium and non compliance with the IAEA will see intervention from Israel, supported in the UN by a US veto.

If you believe the holocaust is bad and that Israeli's killing innocent civilians is good, is that not an opinion based on method of genocide because that’s the only difference here.
So if it’s about the method, isn’t gas chambering the most humane way to do it anyway?

The Muslims have the oil and will use that as a weapon against the West. So even if Israel sorted out Iran to its own satisfaction, the larger question of the world economy remains.
SO yes, let Israel deal with its enemies without hindrance.

But the very essential point remains: Israel's enemies are also the enemies of the West. This makes many people squirm very uncomfortably - they are finding themselves in the same camp as the Jews. But that is the truth of it, whether they are comfortable or not: the enemies of Israel would remain the enemies of the West even if they wiped Israel off the map.

Israel is an excuse. The clash is of a much bigger scale.
