Yes we noticed from your comments yesterday that you have no manners either. Another nice effort at flaming though ,troll.

Roopoo manners to an elderly lady.............................

Yes, you are an abusive old troll, cods. first time you've written anything remotely true today.

senile old fool.

See what I mean,Kat, its a pity she doesn't take her own advice, but she's a nasty old biddy.

WOW you had to go a long way back to find that,I've noticed you tend to that  with most of the quotes you pull out, just shows how hard it is to make ME look as SAD as YOU. That one above ALMOST makes me look as sad as you, longwhine and red baron,WELL ALMOST, cods is still breathing and able to answer back, unlike the old lady you three  dissed on the day she died.

Frances I have broken my own veto to answer one person and one person only....you.

I have done the Math and worked out I would have been 12 years old when all this stuff happened; this would have put the incident occurring in 1969.

This fits the picture as far as your depiction of Margaret Whitlam's involvement in Social Services and well before old Gough made it to the Lodge.

It happened exactly as I said it happened in my first post.

I have nothing further to add.

Quote:
Moving to Cabramatta in 1957, in the heart of Werriwa, Whitlam threw herself into community work, returning to part-time social work at Parramatta Hospital in 1964. With Gough being elevated to Opposition leader three years later, she gave away her job to be able to be more by his side.

Seeing her role at this stage as chief supporter for her husband's rocketing political career, Whitlam started to become more confident in talking to reporters and projecting a personality of her own. Let loose, Whitlam became a political force in her own right.

She campaigned independently in the 1969 campaign and in the three years leading up to 1972 took part in television and radio panels and wrote a column for Woman's Day magazine. Social reforms were high on her agenda and, influenced by Germaine Greer's The Female Eunuch, she talked forthrightly about the need for equal pay for women as well as abortion reform.

I'm a little lost here. M Whitlam wasn't within coo-ee of a social security office making decisions on who should get what in 1969.

Did your family try to get benefits from the ALP campaign fund?

You got me Skippy I  f....d up on the math! Anyhow I was 12 when it happened and I served  in Thailand in the Vietnam thing doing 2 tours of duty from 1966 - 1967.

I don't want to lose my street cred Skippy particularly to a little creep like you. You know I'm not going to forgive you for what you said about my mother. I intend to rip and tear you Skippy. Get ready!

Incidentally Skip this is for you.

Carr: Them clothes got laundry numbers on them. You remember your number and always wear the ones that has your number. Any man forgets his number spends a night in the box. These here spoons you keep with you. Any man loses his spoon spends a night in the box. There's no playing grab-ass or fighting in the building. You got a grudge against another man, you fight him Saturday afternoon. Any man playing grab-ass or fighting in the building spends a night in the box. First bell's at five minutes of eight when you will get in your bunk. Last bell is at eight. Any man not in his bunk at eight spends the night in the box. There is no smoking in the prone position in bed. To smoke you must have both legs over the side of your bunk. Any man caught smoking in the prone position in bed... spends a night in the box. You get two sheets. Every Saturday, you put the clean sheet on the top... the top sheet on the bottom... and the bottom sheet you turn in to the laundry boy. Any man turns in the wrong sheet spends a night in the box. No one'll sit in the bunks with dirty pants on. Any man with dirty pants on sitting on the bunks spends a night in the box. Any man don't bring back his empty pop bottle spends a night in the box. Any man loud talking spends a night in the box. You got questions, you come to me. I'm Carr, the floor walker. I'm responsible for order in here. Any man don't keep order spends a night in...
Luke: ...the box.
Carr: I hope you ain't going to be a hard case.

Now Skip...your first night with Cool Hand Luke...get in the f.....g box Skip!

And we've yet to mention how his poor dad was severely incapacitated, the family thrown on to the pension. And yet the worst thing that happened was that Mrs Whitlam wasn't nice to his mum.

It was one of the worst episodes in our family's  life and one I will never forgive the true pariah in the matter Margaret Whitlam for.

Great sense of proportion there baron. You left out your dog dying. The last straw is always the dog dying y'know. Violins in the background may have been a nice touch as well.

Gist for you jerk head, incidentally have you got Parkinson's? We will have to call your logo the NODDING DOG.

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last post, which is the way Gist wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you.

One of the things in my family's history is a terrible story about my invalided grandmother. She was in her wheelchair going up Chapel Street one morning when a street gang led by Janette "The Skull" Howard, and Pattie "Iceman" Menzies confronted her. Well, these hooligans were about to take my dear grannie down. Except they didn't bargain on my grandmother having a submachine gun hidden under her blanket. She shot them all dead and was awarded the Iron Cross by President Roosevelt. That was  about 1789 that happened. I remember it was just before my 15th birthday.

They can rot in hell those two women.

Why don't you post up what you claim I said about your mother so we can ALL laugh at you?
Its on this thread isn't it?
As far as I can see I said, and I quote
"I don't care about you or your mother" SO WHAT, I don't care about anyone's mother that I don't know.
" your mother should have taught you manners"
I stand by that, she obviously taught you none. Because the way you carried on about M Whitlam on the day she died you'd be on the ground if you said it in a pub.
As for your little threat to me, don't let fear hold you back, silly old fool.
