Can everyone please just leave Craig alone? It is clear that he is innocent. Someone must have obviously stolen his credit card, forged his signature, and possibly even stolen his face. Craig, being the great, dignified and respectable gentleman that he is, decided to let it go, and not follow up the case, and try to discover the identify of the culprit.

Its not clear whether he is guilty or innocent and frankly I doubt Abbott would give a toss if he thought he could win the election if Gillard goes full term.
Let the system take its course and if he is found guilty throw the book at him.

Exactly. But the problem for whiny little snivelers like matty/haim et al is that she has spent the last two and a half years listening to longwhine preach that the Labor gov will fall any day and has been stupid enough to believe him.longwhine should stop being so cruel to the handicapped, its just not fair on matty. What? I am defending him. I mean, it's perfectly clear that he is innocent. Craig was just too nice a person to worry about someone using his credit card, forging his signature and possibly even stealing his face.

I understand why Thomson is refusing to be interviewed and it is perhaps good legal advice. But ultimately it does tend to suggest that he is attempting to avoid self-incrimination - which is his right. His lawyers are trying to keep him out of jail, which is their job. But you have to admit, it looks bad.

Ultimately though he WILL have to talk with the police even if they have to arrest him to do so. AS the mass of evidence piles up against him it wil end up being better to go willingly rather than in handcuffs.

He is still going to jail tho. He is just trying to stave off the inevitable.

Everyone is innocent unless proven otherwise..we havent degenerated into a hard line ultra conservative Milosevic style dictatorship just yet.

HILARIOUS...but all the nasty things you said about Fisher were A OK>  is that right???

Did I say Fisher should be jailed?
Nope.. I said she is not mentally fit to be in parliament and I doubt anyone can dispute that.

depression and panic attacks dont disqualify you from almost any profession. Why dhouls parliament be any different? how can you complain about Fishers mental health without equally questionoing the ETHICAL health of others? only the latter truly affects their judgement.

hence the word 'ALMOST'. see thats what intelligent people do... They dont make broad sweeping statements. They recognise that there are a FEW professions that depression could affect although there are a lot of depressed surgeons and pilots and plenty of examples of both.

you are quite 19th century in your understanding of depression. Who would have thought you could be so antiquated?

You would think Craig Thomson would be keen to do anything and everything to clear his name, but nooooo. Seems to me that the only reason he would refuse to talk to Police is because he obviously has something to hide and that he is scared that he may incriminate himself. This guy is an A-grade moron!

Mr Thomson is very unhappy that his church attendance program has been interrupted by the media and police.

In other news the police are still trying to identify the person who broke into Thomson's house, stole his wallet, credit card, mobile phone and wedding ring and drove to Sydney to use those items. After that the person drove to the Gosford area and returned all those items. Anyone with information should ring CrimeStoppers. Please treat this matter as 'urgent'.

No, no, no, as I was saying, Craig is too nice to care about who did it. He aims to please everyone. Just let it slide like he has. I think that Craig has a compassion and forgiving nature, so rare in the human species. What other person would allow someone to use their credit card, forge their signature, and borrow their face? He's a role model for us all. I would be most disappointed if he is not made Australian of the Year next year. His story needs to be spread to an international level. To think that all of those movies and documentaries have been made about those deadbeats like Gandhi, Mother Teresa and Mary MacKillop, when there is a story like this that hasn't been told...

of course you can say that adel... but shite   3.,5.years and still they are throwing bogies into the works..to slow it all down..

please dont pretend if this was a Lib you would be saying the same thing

If he wasn't a politician and the police had found no charges to answer 3 times that would have been well past the end of the matter.

The liberals pushing for never ending investigations is the reason it has taken 3.5 years. At least 3 investigations have been completed in that time.

This is about political gain - not justice.

I think you will find it was Ms Jackson who was doing the pushing...with a little help from the Libs..after all she wasnt getting any answers from FAIRWORK>.was she??? wouldnt you be frustrated if after 3.5. years not a thing changed.

the police btw havent FINISHED their investigation so how could they have found nothing wrong 3 times????

where do you get your information from.?? oh probably GETUP..

anyway the police were brought in a long time after FAIRWORK stalled and stalled...

MONEY IS MISSING mONEY WAS INAPPROPRIATELY USED BY OFFICIALS>

dont you really think that is worth investigating.??????..

I know if I was a low paid health worker I would want it investigated..

sh!t $2000 lunches.. yeah right.

Im more amazed how long the ALP have let this issue hang over their heads, almost in a hope that it will blow over.

I honestly expected them to have somone come out from the HSU and take the fall for this already.

This is a bad smell the ALP dont need over them at the moment, there lack of interest in clearing this has been amazing.
