Craig Thomson refuses to talk to Police
Apr 15th, 2012 at 8:14am

You would think Craig Thomson would be keen to do anything and everything to clear his name, but nooooo. Seems to me that the only reason he would refuse to talk to Police is because he obviously has something to hide and that he is scared that he may incriminate himself. This guy is an A-grade moron!

At this point, he has to do what the lawyers tell him to do ... with the witch hunt thats going on, he'd be crazy to do anything else.
If you want to take that as a sign of guilt, so be it.

If he truly was innocent, both he and his lawyer would be doing everything they can to cooperate and bring this farce to a speedy conclusion. Obviously this has been dragging on for quite some time and there seems to be no end in sight. Given the absence of anything being offered by either Thomson or his lawyer to refute these allegations, one can only assume that he is trying to drag this out for as long as possible. He is only trying to avoid the inevitable, though - fines and/or prison and a loss of his parliamentary pension and entitlements after he loses his seat at the next election.

You would go against your lawyers advice?
I doubt you are being totally honest with us.

The former union leader also accused Labor MP Craig Thomson of trying to suggest he had impersonated him in a brothel, suggesting escort service charges were made by Mr Jackson and that he had paid $15,000 back to the union.

“That had nothing to do with credit cards or hookers or anything,’’ he said. “There was no doubt he was trying to deflect allegations to me. I absolutely deny the misuse of any credit cards.”

yes I would also be getting a lawyer to seek out  this mongrel for pointing his ugly finger at me if I was Mr Jackson..

Mr Jackson who is no one of honor either... was paying back money paid to him after he gave himself an unauthorised pay rise..

Thats not true ... most lawyers would play the waiting game  and wait and see what if any evidence the police may have... if you want to believe that makes him guilty, go for it, you've probably already decided his guilt ...

No, I would work with my lawyer to clear my name as quickly as possible. Thomson, on the other hand, seems quite happy for this farce to last as long as possible.

he is in a lot of trouble AP... and its normal for a lawyer to tell him to shut up.. it sounds very much like the lawyers are expecting him to be charged!!!!!

In that case, he needs new lawyers as they are letting his name get dragged through the mud for too long.

It is not uncommon for innocent people who co operate with the police to find themselves behind bars.
